142079 approaches Crowle on 31 May 1997 with the 11:03 Doncaster to Scunthorpe Regional Railways North East service. After its career in the north, 142079 was sent to South Wales in 2019, as a source of spares for the Welsh fleet. It was scrapped shortly afterwards. This view has changed since the 1990s. The signal gantry has gone, and houses now occupy the field on the right.
