156403 passes Alstone (Cheltenham) on 4 August 1990 with the late running 1V10 08:40 Nottingham to Cardiff Central Regional Railways service. Its been a long time since Class 156s regularly passed this spot. I haven't got that many pictures of 156s in this original livery, which is a pity, as it looks a lot better than certain later colour schemes!
