There is still plenty of departmental activity in the yard art Warton on 9 June 2005, as 175009 passes by with a Manchester Airport to Barrow-in-Furness TransPennine Express service. After initially working in the north, the Class 175s were transferred to Arriva Trains Wales in 2003, but some, such as 175009, were leased back to work trains in the north until 2006.
