Class 442 5-WES 2424 passes Old Basing on Sunday 28 April 1991 with the 09:40 Weymouth to Waterloo Network SouthEast service. The footbridge in the background also provided an excellent viewpoint in the 1990s, although I suspect that shadows from the lineside trees will be much more of a problem at both locations nowadays.
