31255 passes Hinksey Yard on 28 July 1983 with the 4M32 16:25 Morris Cowley to Bescot Speedlink, carrying a selection of Austin Ambassador cars. The Ambassador was a hatchback version of the earlier Austin Princess, a very distinctive design, nicknamed "The Wedge". Unfortunately both models were blighted by British Leyland's poor build quality.
