After the demise of the Speedlink network in early July 1991, MoD traffic from the south of England made its way north on the 6M79 15:08 Eastleigh to Crewe Basford Hall working. This train would often have multiple locos on the front, as a means of moving them north. On 29 July 1991 the train was powered by 37235, with 47280 Pedigree & 47851 in tow. It is pictured passing Bletchingdon, with the disused Shipton-on-Cherwell Cement Works in the background.
