37254 approaches Clink on 5 August 1991 with a rake of vacuum braked ballast hoppers. This is a very ordinary working for the DCWA allocated loco, but just five days later it performed a much more unusual duty, when it assisted the failed 1C27 10:30 Paddington to Penzance HST from Lavington to Penzance. Unfortunately I don't have a photo of that, as back in the 1990s I wouldn't have known anything about it!
