37417 Highland Region passes Sandycroft signal box on 31 May 1997 with the 1K67 13:22 Bangor to Crewe North West Regional Railways service. With the transfer of many Class 37/4s away from Scotland in the mid 1990s, it often happened that locos would have totally inappropriate names for the area in which they operated!
