37601 Perseus approaches the site of Yarnton Junction on 20 April 2022 with the 5Q70 11:35 Long Marston to Wolverton Centre Sidings ECS, conveying GWR tri-mode unit 769927. 37510 Orion is bringing up the rear. This train reversed at Oxford and then headed to Birmingham via Banbury. Although the Banbury line is only a short distance from this spot, the train would be coming directly out of the sun, so instead I waited for yet more of GWR's troubled 769s, which came under their own power from the opposite direction, 40 minutes later.
