37902 arrives at Aberthaw on 8 November 1996 with the 6B89 13:11 Cardiff Tidal to Aberthaw Power Station oil tanks. Like most coal fired power stations, Aberthaw used a small quantity of fuel oil for boiler start up purposes. This was a really dull day, but at least that allowed a picture to be taken from the north side of the line, giving a much better view of the train. Barely visible through the mist in the background is the Bristol Channel.
