Until 2019, HSTs were a regular sight on the Cotswold Line, but they never looked like this! 43484 & 43468 very slowly approach Charlbury on 9 July 2025 with the 6Z46 11:15 Burton upon Trent Wetmore Sidings to Eastleigh Arlington, conveying barrier vehicles 8027970200 & 8027970192, along with former Greater Anglia Mk3 coaches 12079 & 12167. As the train was running a few minutes late, it was clear that it was not going to be allowed onto the single track section of line from Charlbury to Wolvercote until the 1W27 13:50 Paddington to Great Malvern GWR IET had reached Charlbury. Therefore there was easily enough time to drive through Charlbury for a second picture of the train as it passed Cornbury Park.
