45118 The Royal Artilleryman passes Blanchworth on 25 August 2025 with the InterCity 1Z55 07:22 Crewe to Cardiff Central 'The Western Wanderer' railtour. Rather than visit one of the usual locations (Standish Junction for example), which I knew would be crowded, and which I have photographed railtours at on numerous occasions, I opted for somewhere different, and more off the beaten track. I couldn't really make the view looking down the farm track to this spot work, but this view, with the hedge on the left, and the stubble field in the foreground does make a good picture.
