Apart from the actual trackwork and Temple Meads station in the background, virtually everything in this picture of Bristol has now disappeared. 47543 trundles past Bath Road Depot on 28 December 1991, while two of its classmates await their next turn of duty in front of the shed. The Royal Mail sorting office that is dominating the background was closed in 1997, but was not demolished until 2019. Bath Road Depot closed in 1995 and was demolished in 2003. A very dull day, but this is my only picture of this now historic view.
