47600 passes Ashchurch on 15 August 1992 with the 1V40 07:33 Rose Grove to Paignton 'InterCity Holidaymaker'. This view would change completely a few years later with the creation of the new Ashchurch (for Tewkesbury) station. The original station was closed in 1971. Judging by the colour of the rails, nothing has been along the MoD branch on the right for a while!
