47808 passes Claydon on 2 July 1991 with the 1M38 15:44 Plymouth to Derby service. This used to be an excellent photographic location, with clear views in both directions, both in the early morning and the late evening. Unfortunately this evening view of trains heading north has now been lost to three decades of tree growth.
