In the early 1990s 47834 Fire Fly was usually kept in immaculate condition, often with silver buffers, as it was used on special and Royal Train duties. However, it is looking a little shabby here, as it passes the site of Bletchingdon station on 3 February 1990 with the 1O12 07:50 Glasgow Central to Southampton service.
