50008 Thunderer passes Golant on 4 May 1991 with the Pathfinder Tours 1Z16 Manchester Piccadilly to Penzance 'Cornish Centurion 2' railtour. 50015 Valiant is bringing up the rear. Apologies for the very poor quality of this image, but the weather was abysmal, and this picture was taken at 07:25. The long drive to Cornwall required a 03:00 start! I have seen numerous more recent pictures of Golant, but I don't think there is now this unobstructed view of the cottages in the foreground. Note the surf board propped up against one of the houses.
