My only picture of 50015 Valiant in unrefurbished condition. This very poor quality image shows Valiant passing Bruern on 22 July 1980 with the 1A15 (appropriately!) 18:45 Hereford to Paddington service. At 20:25 the sun is almost setting, but why I didn't chose a better location is a mystery, so the side of the loco is tinted pink with the reflected evening light.
