The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway was operating an all diesel service on 17 August 2025, due to the high temperatures and fire risk. Visiting 50021 Rodney is pictured passing Didbrook with the normally steam worked 10:55 Cheltenham Racecourse to Broadway train. This distinctive tree has been dead for some time, and I am amazed that it hasn't collapsed, or at least lost some of its branches. However, while it stands it adds an excellent foreground feature to the view. The cows were added bonus, as they wandered into view to drink at the water trough shortly before the train appeared.
