50031 Hood speeds towards Circourt Bridge, Denchworth on 20 October 1979 with the 09:23 Paddington to Cheltenham service. A typical misty autumnal morning has not helped with the photography and the limitations of the Praktica PLC2 camera are a little obvious. However, this is the only decent record that I have of Hood in unrefurbished condition and in original livery (discounting preservation repaints).
