50049, 50007, 50044, 50035 & D1015 Kemble Wick 30 August 2017

How's this for a loco convoy? 50049 Defiance hauls 50007 Hercules, 50044 Exeter, 50035 Ark Royal & D1015 Western Champion past Kemble Wick on 30 August 2017, running as the 0Z50 09:20 Kidderminster to Old Oak Common. The locos were being moved from the Severn Valley Railway for display at the final Old Oak Common open day. I wouldn't normally go out specifically for a light engine move, especially not in the rain, but this was too good to miss! At least the rain had almost stopped when they passed. Given the still and quiet conditions, I was surprised that I did not hear this approaching. Kemble Tunnel, which can be seen in the background, was built purely so that Squire Gordon of Kemble House couldn't see the railway from his house!
