56087 passes Compton Beauchamp on 31 May 2019 with the 6Z30 15:35 Dagenham Dock to Bridgend Ford Sidings empty vans. This is one of the very few locations between Didcot and Swindon where it is possible to photograph this train with a decent light angle. A bonus is the relative lack of 25Kv ironmongery getting in the way. The rare survivor (on the Great Western Mainline) of a brick arch bridge, and the crumbling remains of the old cow shed add to the picturesqueness of the scene.
