56301 & 56103 pass Crofton on 6 June 2025 with the 6V23 10:34 Willesden DC Rail Sidings to Merehead Quarry stone empties. With lots of clouds around, it was not at all certain that I would get this in the sun, but luckily it was running a few minutes early, as at the booked time it definitely was cloudy! The building hiding amid the trees on the left is the Crofton Pumping Station, housing the world's oldest operational beam engine that is still in its original location.
