A4 4-6-2 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley passes through Goole on 28 September 1997 with the Hull to Kings Cross 'Capitals Express' railtour. A slightly unbalanced composition with the train on the far left of the picture, but necessary in order to include Goole's famous 1926 built water tower. Unfortunately at that time the option to take the picture from the opposite side, thereby easily including the water tower was not available due to extensive bush growth around Potters Grange Junction (on the left).
