60021 Pen-y-Ghent runs alongside the Stainforth & Keadby Canal at Crowle on 12 March 1998 with the 6D78 12:14 Redcar to Scunthorpe, conveying coke in HEA hoppers. Note the first signs of development in the field on the right. First of all a caravan park, and later a housing estate appeared, changing the view forever.
