60099 Ben More Assynt passes Hungerford Common on 18 March 2026 with the 6M51 09:45 Merehead Quarry to Quainton Railhead HS2 stone train. This was running seven minutes early, which was lucky, as the 6V17 10:34 Willesden DC Rail Sidings to Merehead Quarry stone empties was due here at exactly the same time. I was taking a risk that I might not get a picture, but not only was this train early, but the other train was a few minutes late. Potential crisis averted!
