B1 4-6-0 61306 Mayflower approaches Kingham at considerable speed on 7 June 2015 with the Steam Dreams 1Z27 17:48 Worcester Shrub Hill to Paddington 'Cathedrals Express' railtour. Such was the speed, that I changed the shutter speed to 1/2000sec at the last minute to make sure the train was fully 'stopped'. Very important when standing this close to the subject (at a public footpath crossing). I was not entirely surprised when no other steam photographers turned up, as this is a fair walk from the nearest road, but I was surprised when about a dozen people from the local hotel arrived, as they had been told that a steam train was coming!
