66414 & 66559 pass Burbage Wharf on 8 April 2026 with the 6A40 08:40 Merehead Quarry to Hanwell Bridge Loop stone train. This is my first visit to this location, although I have driven over the bridge many hundreds of times over the years. The reason I hadn't stopped before is that it is on a double bend over a narrow bridge on a very busy road. There is nowhere to stand, other than on the Armco barrier, so it is not the most pleasant place to stay for more than a few minutes.
