South Western Railway's brand new 701038 gets a test run on 11 August 2022. Running 28 minutes early, it passes Mount Pleasant (Southampton) with the 5Q41 16:52 Eastleigh to Southampton Central (via Basingstoke) test run. These new units, built by Bombardier Transportation, will replace the 1980s & 1990s built Classes 455 & 456.
