C318 Llandevenny 21 October 1985

C318 (53917, 59369 & 53864) heads away from the camera at Llandevenny on 21 October 1985 with the 2B34 11:25 Chepstow to Cardiff Central service. As indicated by the destination blind, the unit had previously worked the 10:30 Cardiff Central to Chepstow train. Like most Welsh Class 116s, the venerable unit has been smarted up with the addition of a Welsh Red Dragon, and red front end markings. Note also the Trên y Cwm (Valley Train) wording on the bodyside.
