Not long for this world! D5541 (31123) was only in use at the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway for a couple of years, before being sidelined with serious engine problems. It is glimpsed here between the goods shed and the loco shed at Toddington on 29 October 2005. It had just been sold to A1A Locomotives Ltd, as a source of spares. What was left was scrapped the following year. Just visible behind it is 56003, which was visiting for the line's Diesel Gala.
