There was a lot of hanging around at Kinchley Lane, on the Great Central Railway, waiting for the sun to come out on 24 September 2001, during the East Midlands Railway Photographic Society's photo charter. However, when it did, it resulted in this superb lighting, which really shows off D8048 & D8098, and their rake of 16 ton mineral wagons.
