A wave and a toot from the driver of 43008, as the 5Z43 06:06 Neville Hill to Laira CrossCountry ECS passes Claydon on 27 September 2023. 43007 is bringing up the rear. This train had been used on the previous day's 'Pines Express' and 'Bournemouth Belle' railtours. The sun was almost on the point of breaking through the clouds, and of course came out fully just a few seconds after the train had passed!
