Although I took a lot of pictures at this spot near Denchworth prior to the line being electrified, they were usually in full sun. However, for just a change, here is a picture of 43009 First Transforming Travel heading west during a heavy, but fortunately very brief, shower of rain on 16 September 2010. It is working the 1B35 12:45 Paddington to Swansea First Great Western service.
