47231 The Silcock Express passes through Heyford station on 17 August 1988 with the 6V19 06:32 Bescot to Oxford Speedlink, which on this occasion seems to consist entirely of empty cartics for Morris Cowley. The lampposts have received a coat of Network SouthEast red paint, but the up platform is still partly covered in grass and weeds. The station looks a lot tidier today.
