47256 passes Hinksey Yard on 5 July 1980 with the 1A51 11:40 Worcester Shrub Hill to Paddington service. At this time most Cotswold Line trains were loco hauled. This would change a couple of years later, when all but a couple of these trains were replaced by DMUs.
